Video Premiere: Bazook Blaze by Trophy Jump

Today we are super excited to bring you the first look at our friends Trophy Jump's new video for the song Bazooka Blaze. Video Premiere: Large Island Iced Tea by Swayze

Today we are immensely proud to bring you the first looked at the new video for Large Island Iced Tea from Canadian punks Swayze. Large Island Iced Tea is the third track from Swayze's 2020 EP St. Angry. The music video was directed, filmed and edited by Swayze's friend Jason Hamill and features Skylar of THE FAPS in multiple roles, most of which include him throwing garbage at the band.

St. Angry is the newest EP from Saskatchewan-based dad punk band Swayze. St. Angry sees the band bring together elements of melodic hardcore, punk rock and pop to form a set of five aggressive, yet melodic, tunes. Lyrically, the band are as dismal as ever, using the EP as a means of catharsis for the members’ feelings of depression, anxiety and self-hatred.

Video Premiere: Fair Do's by Modern Shakes

Today we're really excited to bring you the first look at the lyric video for the new Modern Shakes song, Fair Do's, taken from their upcoming second EP Someday, One Day. If you're new to Modern Shakes, they are a four piece from London who formed in the early part of 2018. Since then they've shared the stage with the likes of Teenage Bottlerocket, Clowns, Billy Liar, A Wilhelm Scream and The Dopamines, alongside appearing at Might As Well Fest and Polite Riot Fest. Playing a hook-heavy, uptempo, midwestern style of punk rock, they're a band who would fit nicely on The Fest or Booze Cruise line ups.

Modern Shakes stands in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement, and will be donating all proceeds from the sale of the single (via Bandcamp) to Black Minds Matter.

Video Premiere: Dolphin Suicide by Laserchrist

Today we are incredibly excited to premiere the brand new video for South London via South Africa dirty melodic psych punks Laserchrist for their song Dolphin Suicide. The song, which was written before lockdown began is the bands first with new bass player and UK DIY punk legend Ollie "Jugs" Ward and Laserchrist's first new material since their 2018 debut DIY-Bother.

Dolpin Suicide was mixed by drummer Yusuf Laher and mastered by Rogan Kelsey (Lapdust Studios) in South Africa. The video was put together by frontman Daz's bored housemate Ryan Griffiths. Check the video out below.

Laserchrist also have their debut album in the works. Keep an eye on all their social media pages to stay up to date with when that's likely to be released and anything else they might have going on at the moment.

Video Premiere: Wake Up, The Monster Said by Call Me Malcolm

On Friday, Call Me Malcolm released their first single from their upcoming new album, Me, Myself And Something Else. Titled Wake Up, The Monster Said, the band explain "‘Wake Up...’ explores the reality of living with mental health issues, and the impact of depression on the simplest of daily actions."

We're pleased as punch to be premiering the video for Wake Up, The Monster Said on CPRW.
