What a busy day it was for Be Sharp Promotions yesterday. 2019 marks ten years of Be Sharp and all year long they are putting on some massive shows. Yesterday they announced FIVE huge gigs!
First up was Pkew Pkew Pkew who are making their triumphant return to the New Cross Inn, earlier than expected, on March the 8th to celebrate the release of their new album Optimal Lifestyles. They're going to have Be Sharp / New Cross Inn / CPRW favourites Eat Defeat for support as well.
Canadian punk rock duo Mobina Galore return to London as a warm up for their set at Bristol's Booze Cruise on May 24th. Support comes from post-hardcore act Hora Douse.
On June 25th, Be Sharp team up with their buddy Till The Wheels to put on Ogikubo Station. The duo consist of Asian Man Records legend Mike Park and former Mixtapes guitarist/vocalist Maura Weaver, playing some beautifully crafted indie punk together.
Oregon skate punk legends Cigar come to London for first time in a really long time on Sunday August 4th. Originally running between 1996 and 2004 before reuniting in 2013 and then 2016.
Canada's Hit The Switch released one of CPRW's favourite albums on 2018 with Entropic. We can't wait to see the melodic thrash punk band make their New Cross debut on August the 13th. That's a gig not to be missed!
